Setting up your Account with Xero
Create an account by going to https://myeasyaccrue.com and clicking the Sign in with Xero button. After logging in with Xero, your EasyAccrue account is now created. You can now explore EasyAccrue - have a look at our provided example business, Fake Eyelashes Co to see what to explore.
Importing your Xero business
To quickly get your Xero data into EasyAccrue, go to the Dashboard and click the Import Xero Business button. Follow the following steps to get started:
- Follow the Connect to Xero prompt.
- Once complete, pick the Xero business you want to import and fill in the rest of the fields as appropriate. Not sure what a field means? Hover over the ? to the right of the field to get a quick tooltip explaining it.
- Wait for the syncing process to complete. This shouldn't take longer than a few minutes. Once it's complete, you'll be prompted to choose your Nominal Codes, Prepayment Codes and Accrual Codes that EasyAccrue will use. These codes are prefilled from your imported Xero data, but it's worth double-checking the list to ensure everything matches what you want. (This data can be manually changed later, see Setting up Your First Business)
- Swap to your imported Xero business by selecting it from the dropdown on the left panel. You're now fully set up to start using EasyAccrue!
